We're not bringing furniture, only our personal belongings.
It depends if you've got good quality goods or not I guess, I'm happy to get rid of what I have even if it means having to 'make do' for a little while! Also not sure if the flatpack furniture would even make it through another re-build!! :)

Good luck and hopefully we will be down around the same time - just sat waiting for the Meds to arrive at DIAC then we will be booking and starting the 'roller-coaster'!


PS: I see your youngest is 7, so is my daughter, just wondered if she'd like to have a chat with my Jen (also 7), also a spider phobe - no thanks to my son!! She's up for moving but will miss her friends - forever doing sleepovers, roll-play etc.. they're like sisters to her :(

That sounds good! To be honest we are tackling the spider problem - letting her do a bit of internet research on different types of spiders, and we watched a documentary about how they milk spiders for anti-venom, then likened it to bee stings etc - seems to be working!! She has an email account, I will pm you the address later (better check it's still active first!) so they could email each other?

We have used many removal companies on various postings but the one I recommend is the one we used coming to Oz. The UK company is Robinsons who were excellent, they use Ridgeways at this end who were also very good. i wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. Best of luck

Thanks Colette, I think we used Robinsons when we were in the RAF and posted back from Germany? Sound familiar!!
