sir visa subclass 495

were going on the above visa,we submitted the main visa application middle august 2007,money was taken in December and we have heard nothing since,just waiting for case officer medicals and police checks can anyone give me a clue as to what time scale we are looking to have the medicals and police checks and when we might finally get the visa

Hi Karen, We applied on line for sub class 475 temp visa on the 4th December money taken of the day after, reference number printed off online on day of application. We have just had medicals and police checks have been sent to agent to pass on. We decided not to wait on case officer as i have heard that some people don't get allocated one at all. We had all paperwork sent from agent for medicals and advised to go ahead as we hope to move over this summer. Hope this helps you just need to remember that both police checks and medicals are only valid for one year so you would have to be intending to move within that time scale.

We sent off for the 495 in July and got the visa accepted in Dec, Do you have an agent or is there anyone you can ring?

 

Hopefully it wont be too much longer now
