Attaching Docs

I have attached a load of docs to my visa application, I can see them as attached when I log in to on the link to attach more but when I use the link to check visa progress they don't show as attached on there. Am I doing something wrong or is this how it appears?

I don't want to have to sit for another 8 hours at the scanner!!!!!

This is quite normal. It will only show as received on the visa progress site once a co has looked at them. And even then I have read of posters on here who have said that they have had their visa grant with that page still showing as still outstanding.
