OPTICIANS in adelaide

hi,does any one use an opticians in adelaide,if so are they expensive.i wear monthly contact lenses which cost me around £40 every 3 months plus cleaning solution £20 for 2 months.has anyone any idea how much i would expect to pay?thanks,tracy.:eek:

Hmmmmmmmmm lucky you! Meg wears a soft contact in her left eye new every 2 weeks @ £30 a throw. Currently provided by the NHS on a specialist run from the manufactures.

We dont know if it will be possible to get them on medi care so we have cultivated our local optician. A very nice helpfull man who recons if we buy 12m supply @ once he could get them for about £25 a month, £300 per anum. He is prepared to act as itermidiary for us and send them out to AU if desperation strikes. I suspect if your eyes arnt off the scale like Megs you may be able to deal direct with the manufacturers over the net.
