Citizeship ceremonies.

At the cricket yesterday a lovely thing happened.

During a break on the pitch they held a Citizenship ceremony.

How lovely to see,it really did bring a lump to my throat and proud memories of when we attained ours a few years back.

Everyone stood up and applauded.

It was just as well that the citizen ceremony went well, as the cricket was a disaster.
I was down in Elder Park yesterday morning for the celebrations which went off well, with Gun Salutes and fireworks, a good morning out!
