Hi all,

Lisa (Moderator) has told me some folk are having problems with registering and also with activating their account- such as not receiving the welcome email to activate their account.

If having problems please feel free to email me at:

contact{at**pomsinadelaide.com and I'll see what I can do - Replacing {at** with @.

This forum has really taken off recently and I know how good it is to speak to like minded people either planning to, going through or have migrated to Adelaide to talk about it all!

I really want this forum to become a real community spirited place!

Anyway I hope you enjoy this forum.

Cheers :D :D

I waited 24 hours to get the confirmation email for my membership on here then I found it in my 'junk' folder, it was timed as arriving only a few mins after I registered.

My advice would be to check the JUNK or SPAM folders.

I never use to check them but do now, I've found a few emails that weren't JUNK or SPAM in there since so gawd know how many emails I've actually missed that wish I hadn't.

hi Tim i did have a sticky start when registering after the first time as i had the password on remembering who i was (in case i forgot password!) eventually re-set password which did take quite a fews tries (& half an hour!) not a big problem though.
This is a fab site & i wish to thank the people behind the scenes, keep up the great work!
I miss the photo at the start - a sunny Adelaide always reminded me why we are going through the endless amounts of paperwork!
thanx for a great site!

Hi all,

Yes, I guess I'm one of the many who had a "sticky start" to PIA but all turned good when Tim asked me to look in my Junk folder! Dah Derr!

Fantastic site Tim, so glad I found it. Its good to give a little bit of knowledge to those coming out here, it makes their transition more easier. Wish I'd none about PIA when I was in the U.K!!!!!

Well it looks like your wish has been granted. It is by far the friendliest Oz forum I have found. Long may it continue. :D
