The fixtures for the Champions League have just been released and the mighty Glasgow Celtic are playing when we are in Adelaide for our look around.
Does anyone know if there are Football friendly sports bars which will be open and showing the game? i will gladly meet up with the person that gets me watching the game and buy them drink during the game (if they can put up with me shouting at the telly in my broad Scottish Accent:D)
cheers all
Graham

Hello, Hello,
We are part of the John Brown Loyal in Adelaide, you are more than welcome to come and join us!!
L.O.L. my cousin is in Adelaide and has many friends who like yourself, support Celtic, so leave it with me and I will find out for you and post the reply as soon as I can.
Hopefully we can get you the Adelaide Celtic Supporters Club and you can meet fellow supporters and do a little bit of networking as well.
The only problem that I can forsee is that the games wouldn't be shown until 4.30am, so it would have to be a supporters club and a bucket load of pro-plus!!!!
speak to you soon.

also the casino skycity may be showing games - on the few occasions we have been in there, they have a good selection of sport showing and they are open all hours! this could be an option for the rugby world cup also!

Hi there, he's not sure but says that doesn't mean to say there aren't any!
If he hears of anything he will let me know.
Sorry I couldn't have been more help.

anyone in Adelaide already fancy meeting up for this?
i will happily buy a beer for anyone on the forum who turns up ............. with a Celtic flag\strip\scarf
I'd have met up for a beer or two but unfortunately we don't start our new life until first week in December. Maybe we can leave it until May and watch the Tic play in the Champions League Final;)

Anyway onto more important matters. Best of luck with your visa. Hopefully we can discuss this more over a drink of your favourite tipple on the other side of the world;)

sounds like a plan to me. even if the Tic don't make it this year we can watch it next year when we are both in Oz and celebrate some victories over a barbie
