Hi all,
Many thanks for the previous replies to our last question.
We have been advised by a migration agent to go down the Investment visa route. Has anyone else got in under this visa and what does it entail?
We were hoping that we could get in under the SOL as my occupation has 60 points on the list my problem is I havent done my specified occupation for 9 years although I am quite willing to find a job related to my field, anyone else in this predicament?
Many thanks in advance for your replies
Kind regards
David and Janet

HI,
Do you mean retirement inestor or Inveat 100k for 1 year to gain an extra 5 points?

If you need to invest 100k for 12 months its no probs.
You just fill in the forms for whatever state you want to invest in and then send ther money.
You get intrest at (5% ayear SA Government) and you get your money back exactly 1 year later.

Hi Liz
Thanks for your reply, no i think we have to go down the route of a State/Territory investor Visa which you pay 750,000AUD to the government which they hold it for 4 years.
Do you know anyone else who went down this route?
Kind regards

hi david and janet,
No don't know anybody that has gone down this route, but if you are coming to Adelaide it is classed as Regional Australia and you only have to pay $500,000.
