hello everyone
just thought of yet another question,we are taking some electrical appliances with us,washer,toaster,ect ect ,can you just get the ozzy plugs fit to them or not?????

yes you can - you can fit them yourself, or can pay heaps and get a licenced sparky to do it for you.
When you first get here, you can buy an adaptor plug until you get around to doing them all. BTW - seeing the family tomorrow night about schools in Seaview/Marino.

We brought a seven plug extension lead and just changed the plug that goes in the wall, that way you only change one plug and have 7 UK sockets, all our other extension leads comming over in the container for the same treatment.

You can change the plugs yourself, but on the packets it says "a qualified electrition must fit this plug" or words to that effect. I have been reliably informed that if an appliance causes a fire and a qualified person did not fit the plug your home insurance can be null and void!!

yes it is also a good idea to bring some multiplugs so you can change the mains one over to an ozzy one and still plug 4 uk appliances into it until you get sorted.:D
