Hi there all
I have spoken to the Membership person about Happy Valley Old Cottage (corner of Byard and Reynell Roads) and they have a few empty playgroups which we could start up. I am happy to re-start the group I used to go to
Tuesday 11am - 12.30
as of next week for those who are interested.
From next term (end of Jan) there may be another group we could use, but this one certainly suits me until then, but I have to out the door prompt at 12.30 to take Ruby to kinde.
All welcome, it is $2.50 each week (regardless of how many children you have), but you will have to join Playgroup SA for the rest of the term for insurance purposes which is $10 and then $8 to the Old Cottage building. But this will cover you for any playgroup and takes you up to the end of January when you can then pay yearly which works out more cost effective. These fees cover all the toys, craft, paint, coffee/tea etc and it is very good value for money.
This will mean that us and the kids can make a mess somewhere else .... also, they can play indoors or out depending on the weather and it is more cost effective than Play n Fun in Christies Beach (which I also love by the way!).
Why not try it next week and give it a go and see if it suits you and your kids.
Hope to see you there.
