Hi there all

I have spoken to the Membership person about Happy Valley Old Cottage (corner of Byard and Reynell Roads) and they have a few empty playgroups which we could start up. I am happy to re-start the group I used to go to

Tuesday 11am - 12.30

as of next week for those who are interested.

From next term (end of Jan) there may be another group we could use, but this one certainly suits me until then, but I have to out the door prompt at 12.30 to take Ruby to kinde.

All welcome, it is $2.50 each week (regardless of how many children you have), but you will have to join Playgroup SA for the rest of the term for insurance purposes which is $10 and then $8 to the Old Cottage building. But this will cover you for any playgroup and takes you up to the end of January when you can then pay yearly which works out more cost effective. These fees cover all the toys, craft, paint, coffee/tea etc and it is very good value for money.

This will mean that us and the kids can make a mess somewhere else .... also, they can play indoors or out depending on the weather and it is more cost effective than Play n Fun in Christies Beach (which I also love by the way!).

Why not try it next week and give it a go and see if it suits you and your kids.

Hope to see you there.

Hi Sas, thank you for sorting all that out for us! Unfortunately we can't make the Tuesday sessions as the kids are at State Swim that morning, but if we can arrange a different day or time for the next term we will certainly be there. Thanks again.:)

wow Liz, you keep your kids busy, ballet, swimming (you are certainly getting them out there socialising) .... better let me know which day would suit if other days become available next term.
Thanks

Hi I will definately be there next week - sounds great. Thomas my eldest started school this week and Oliver my youngest keeps asking when he's going to playgroup, he did four sessions in the UK. Looking forward to it and meeting some folks - now we are a little more settled and organised we are looking forward to meeting people.

See you on Tuesday

me again ...
forgot to say that the first session you come along to, you only pay $2.50 like a try before you buy. so for those coming along next tuesday, you do not need to bring along joining fees.
hope to see you there

Good turnout today - thanks everyone and nice to meet those I had not met before. Same time next week and as promised I will check with the memberships person about the exact costs to join Playgroup SA to take us through to the next term when you can pay for the whole year and save money.

This playgroup will run now right up to Xmas and through the school holidays - so those who have older siblings who will be on holidays too, can come along too.

This is a great chance to meet others from this and other forums, have a coffee, kids can play and we can all share any emigrating problems, queries etc we have and hopefully in the process make new friends. Also great for the kids too ..... hahaha!

Cheers
Sas
