Picture the scene!!

5am cold morning, get in kitchen to make the first cup of strong coffee, glance down at phone out of half open eyes and see a message. " Who the hell is that!!"

Message Reads "Congratulations your visa has been granted regards Alan Collet Go Matilda"

:shocked::shocked:

Muddy Hell!!!!

After jigging round kitchen trying not to wake the rest of the house not giving a monkey if the neighbours saw!!!

Floating on air, rung the families and text friends then post on the PIA Family!!

I can feel a serious hangover coming in the morning.

Now the hard work can begin!!
House on market this afternoon, signing forms with Estate Agent (anyone knows of anyone wants a 3 bed semi in not so sunny Hastings?)

So much to do before we plan to get there in mid June.

Thanks to all on here for all the advice and friendships made. Will be asking loads more now, hope you dont mind!

Looking forward to the meet even more now.

Looking forward to seeing that little label in passports! Another thing to do!!!
Best get on with it!!:biglaugh:

That is brilliant news, many congratulations to you.

You better get a move on, but try not to spill any of that lovely australian wine as you sellotape the boxes for moving to your new life.

Enjoy the feeling.

Many congratulations Ian and family

You lucky, lucky people. Am now drinking some lovely SA wine to try and make Oz that little bit closer. Very sad really isn't it.You must be looking out the window at the rain and wind and cold and thinking, what crap weather?. Enjoy.

Congratulations. Good luck selling your house. We are going on the market in a few weeks, just redecorating Rachael's (she posts on here and I'm her mum!) old bedroom. It was rather vivid shades of pink and purple so we're toning it down a bit so as not to scare off any potential buyers.
