Hi there everyone...

Just thought we would let anyone arriving in Adelaide next year know about our short term rental we are taking bookings for...

Our home is positioned on a quiet street in the suburb of Seaview Downs, close to public transport and minutes from the Brighton Beach precinct. A short 10 minute drive to the Glenelg beach and café strips as well as very convenient to all major facilities. There are great schools within walking distance and a wonderful little kindergarten literally around the corner opposite a green, peaceful park. :D

You can view photos at this link- http://picasaweb.google.com/andysonia

With our quality fully furnished, fully serviced, short term rental we aim to make your lives as easy as it could get when you first arrive in this beautiful city! In fact, all you will need to organise initially will be your transport and some groceries on the day you arrive. Everything else is accomodated for.
( We have also supplied as much local information for you as possible to help you get around in your first couple of weeks )

The last UK family in our home loved the area so much that they
bought a house just up the road!

The other inclusions are as follows:

- quality indoor and outdoor furniture (as per photographs), outdoor
BBQ, lovely landscaped gardens (gardener included), established pond and water feature under a large paved entertainment area, TV DVD & VCR, washing machine, dryer, fridge/freezer,microwave, computer, beds, towels & linen, crockery, utensils, cookware.

Services include:

- gas, water, electricity, telephone and internet

There is very little you will need to set up, everything is done! :D :D

If you would like any more information then feel free to email us any time at: abiszcza@bigpond.net.au

Thankyou from ... Sonia & Andy.

These both look really lovely - much nicer inside than many I have seen up for sale on the real estate websites.
Not too many places for the wee beasties to hide :D

What sort of price are they - does anyone know?

Have tried emailing the adeladians but no reply twice

KP Rentals look good and we will use them if we can't get OAA in April.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry don't know why the email didn't work. Have PM you with the details.

Our rental is $520 per week which includes everything!

There are plenty of cheaper options out there but remember you will most likely have to lock yourself into a 12 month contract. Also normal rentals you will need to have your own furniture and pay for electricity, gas, phone and internet contection plus usage. This is all included in the rent we charge so there is no extra to pay.

If you would like anymore information please let us know we are happy to help.

Kind Regards,

Sonia & Andy

Hi Lisa

They e mailed me with the prices once I had posted the last message - I think it was $550 per week. It sounds quite expensive but I haven't looked into alternatives yet so don't have much to compare it too yet.

Hi Donna

Got a reply today eventually from Adeladians!! You have to stay for 3 months minimum as well plus pay a bond so more like long term rental which is no good for us . Don't want to be tied that long to somewhere we haven't seen so may go with KP Rentals if we don't get OAA til we can find our new home as they can be booked by the week :D

There are loads of apartments and caravan parks we are looking into as well which are good 'on arrival' alternatives when you first arrive and finding a house to rent or buy.

Lots here - http://www.adelaidebound.com/accommodation.html

Hi there...

Would just like to thank all the genuine replies we have had in the last week in relation to our Seaview Downs rental.

My wife and I have spent a lot of time and effort over the last year in making this property the perfect short term home for anyone arriving from oversees. It is nice to hear some of the positive feedback from all of you...
Thankyou so much... Andy & Sonia. :D

Hi All,

We have found that most of our tenants prefer to rent the property with broadband internet so unlimited broadband internet is also now included. As most people have their own computer the rent has now been reduced to $500 per week with everything but without the computer.

Kind Regards,

Sonia & Andy
