Hi gang,

Could anybody please say weather they have just gone to Aus, and applied for their visas whilst residing in the country, is it possible? any help would be great.

I do know of someone that had applied for their visa in uk and it did not come through in time so they went over on a visitors visa and popped to new zealand to get their visa as had to be off shore.

Never come across anyone that went over and then applied but guess it can be done as there are on shore options for most of the visas. Might be worth one of the free consultations with an agent to make sure :lol:

Friends of ours went to NZ last year as visitors - they have never come back :)

OH secured a job & I believe they got a school permit to enrol the kids in school & now working on PR, they are in their mid 40s & I do know ultimately they did want Melbourne but they lost points due to age & could not make up enough points

They do keep in touch (but not often) an email every couple of months - no idea why its not more often :cry:
