Hi!
We're new to this site but having read the posts, everyone seems friendly so thought we'd join.

We've jsut sent off our application for SIR 495 visa. Were so exctied when we pressed 'submit' and then we saw just how much stuff we need to collate, certify and submit. Does this journey ever end? Form 80 seems like a nightmare - My OH wants to know if his inside leg measurement, or length of small intestine is required! We've not got an agent so are plodding away step by step.

Anyway, thank you for listening. And thanks for the brilliant "Adelaide-bound" website - we used it loads when submitting our SA sponsorship.

Glad you like Adelaide Bound :D

We just submitted our 495 on 4th Oct but had an agent so not as stressful as they get to fill the form in :D We have just had our police checks back and have our meds on the 13th so we can keep things moving swiftly along :D

Hoping to get the visa in new year so we can be on our way in April. Good luck with it all. There are some great people on here to help you out with any questions or just to chat :D

Hi Ken and Barbie

We submitted police checks and meds 3rd October and are just waiting for the go - ahead from DIMA - don't have a case officer yet so who knows. Sold our house and the people buying ours sold theirs today so this end is moving anyway.
We too used an agent - couldn't have coped doing it myselt especially for the TRA references :roll: that seemed to go on forever.
