Sophie 5 asked me out of the blue oday whether there are ice cream vans in Australia and Mr Whippie/Softie ice cream. This seems to be very important to her. Why she thought of it at that particular time I don't know but hope someone can answer me so I can either tell her good news or lie to her!! :biglaugh:
Thanks

Well I've not actually seen an ice cream van driving round my area for stop me and buy one. there are people who home deliver ice cream in bulk for you to put in the freezer.

However, there are ice cream vans situated in local tourist spots and you can buy ice creams in all the shopping malls

Hope that helps,

The Home Ice Cream man comes fortnightly and sells boxes of ice creams / lollies to put in the freezer for really good value.
He has a bell as well which causes extreme excitment in my 3 and 6 year old.
A fantastic ice cream van visits Belair National park complete with a stainless steel kitchen selling cappucinos and milkshakes in addition to fabbie Mr Whippie type cones.
Yuuuummmmm:jiggy:
