can anyone tell me what sort of jobs are regularly available in/near adelaide? hubby is a greenkeeper/groundsman/gardener and i work in retail trading law/administration but i have limited computer skills (hope to rectify that before i go to oz). Also are the schools good, what is the rental market like and finally, if your not bored yet, what is the cost of living like for such things as utility bills?

Hi, there is loads of jobs here for every type of industry and field of work. My wife is from here but lived in the UK for 32 years then brought me with her back to her, as she wanted to come back, so we moved here in Nov 2007. I had never been here. I love it so much. Got a good job and we rent a 4 bed house with pool for $390 per week till our house is built. Our electricity and water is low considering we have a 20 x 15ft pool. I dont have kids but with what I hear, schools are very good compared too the UK. The cost and standard of living here is so much better then the UK. We lived in the just outside London in Hampshire and what money can buy compared to there is much more value for money. House prices are going up but compared to our cities here, Adelaide is more less exspensive too rent and buy.
