Carrots are between$1.50-$2.00 for 1kg bag. Pots, IMO are not good there is not much choice, as some people would know, all potatoes are not the same, got a 2.5kg bag yesterday for $3.99. Capsicums,(peppers) , vary in price weekly! From $5.99 -$8.99 kg. not sure about mushrooms I think $8.99 kg. Def dont know about garlic....I buy it in a jar!:biglaugh:

Takes up too much water!! That's why fruit and veg isn't too cheap here.

It's pricey here - due to water shortage and transport costs.

I'm half looking at starting a veggie patch ( lucky we have bore water).
Only half interested though as I'm not a big lover of veg - the girls are though.

Rather be growing things to put on the BBQ:D:D

Fruit and veg is more expensive than uk when it's in season and bloody expensive when out of season!
As ever junk food is so much cheaper here. Nothing changes wherever you go in the world!
