Hi,we were granted our 136 visa last May,and still not been able to sell the house,so we are going to have to drastically reduce the price to get some interest in the place.Would we be in a good position if we brought about £110,000 with us,we don't want to buy a massive place with a pool etc.,all we want is a nice little 3 bed place,with a smallish mortgage,we are looking at Woodcroft,Aberfoyle Park area,any help would be much appreciated,thanks,Paul.:confused:

Well We Only Taking 20 000 With Us By The Time Everything Is Paid For , So You Should Be Fine, You Can Get Some Loverly Houses Between 100 And 150 000 So Little Mortgage For You Guys,

That amount should get you in for a $300 - $350K house with a smaller but managable mortgage in those areas.

Don't forget to factor in stamp duty and fees.:)

im looking to get a home in the region of $400,000+ we are taking about £120,000 with us just not sure where to look not to bothered about being close to beach as im 40min drive to coast in england have been looking at mawson lakes or that area
