Hi guys

we are going to start off living down in Mount Gambier so the State of Victoria is very close.

When we buy a car are there any 'special' things we have to remember/do if we buy the car in victoria to use in south australia? is registration an issue by bringing the car from victoria into south australia? What are he best web sites to look ujp about this issue?

Cheers

John

generally you are allowed to drive it until it needs registering again, then you have to register it in your name etc and get SA number plates. I should imagine this happens a lot down in Mount Gambier. Some kids bus in to the high schools from Victoria and if they let them in you shouldn't have a prob with your car....LOL.

Mount Gambier is a good choice, loads of beautiful places to visit down there and housing is still cheaper. Go n see the caves at Naracoorte and the beaches at Robe.
