HI CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT THE SCHOOL FEES ARE IF HAVING TO PAY. MY SON IS 11 AND DAUGHTER IS 7. STUPID QUESTION I KNOW BUT WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW!!:wacko:

There are 2 parts, the first is the compulsory charge set by the government, usually about $170ish for primary and a bit more for secondary. Then the school council can add extra levies on top for building fund, library, technology etc. If you are a PR or citizen and earn a very low income then you can apply for school card from the government which will pay most of the compulsory charge. The charge at primary school covers all consumables like paper, printing, photocopying and a stationary pack. At High school you also have to provide your own stationary and most schools hire text books.

Costs vary depending on which school (obviously) & whether its private or not.

You could contact the school direct & they will advise you.

BTW where in Nottm are you from, we migrated in Sept 07 from Nottm.

thanks for reply. I am trying to get as much info together to sway my other half. He's in 2 minds as to go or not. we are from Bilborough in Notts.

OMG we lived in Carlton my brother lives in Bilborough !!
