Can any one give me some ideas about how we need to go about getting our two children into schools? We have a boy who will be 11 and a girl who will be 9 when hopefully we get out to Aus

When we left UK, Tori was almost 13 and in second year of high school, when we went to enroll her in high school here we found she would be in first year of high school but thats because they start high school a year later here than in UK. She found settling into a new school no problem at all, she said everyone wanted to be her friend because she had an accent and was a bit of a novalty but at the same time, our kids are used to changing schools as my hubby is (and has been) in the military for 26 years, so Tori has actually been to 5 primary schools and is in her thrid high school now.

Cheyenne was 4 when we left UK and in primary school every morning, she was due to go full time in the new year but we moved to Oz in the novemeber, she then had to wait 12 months before starting primary school in QLD, I'm not sure how it would've worked had we moved straight to SA though.

Hope that's helpful regarding high school.
