Recommend a good builder and/or plumber

Not sure if this is the right section (please move if not), although I am looking for a recommendation.

We've just had our offer accepted on a house in Hallett Cove but would like to remodel the interior slightly. I've modifed the original floorplan myself to give a rough idea of what we'd like but know no-one at all, personally, in the building trade.

The mods would involve removing/adding/moving partition walls and some plumbing work - can anyone make any firm recommendations (or anyone to avoid)? Ideally, we'd like to get a handful of quotes before making a decision so please, recommend away!!

cheers Justin - we land on June 10th & take it from there. This is 2nd time around for us - we moved out in Jan but came back after only 2 months, but r giving it another shot.

no, unfortunately not registered. Couldn't quite figure it out last time we were there or get a straight answer from anyone! but as far as I can gather I may need to retrain/do exams to get my licence.

Still looking for a reputable builder, preferably local to the Hallett Cove area - managed to find one guy (somewhere in Adelaide) but he seems incredibly slow at coming back to me, even after leaving messages, sending emails etc. - any recommendations would be welcome.
