Adelaide or Melbourne

Can anyone give me the fors and against living in these areas. Now I guess you may be a little biased because of where you are but please help.

What I seem to be getting vibs of so far is that

Adelaide is too quiet
Melbourne is too big
Melbourne has more work
In melbourne you are not going to get a house near a beach unless you have mega bucks
Adelaide has better weather
Melbourne is not as clean

Please add to the list or correct me if I am wrong. All contributions very greatfully received.
