View Full Version : Quality olive oil.
Extra Virgin Olive oil for sale.
Cold pressed and grown naturally with no chemicals from 40 year old Verdale and Manzanillo varieties.
A good ,full bodied oil that is hand harvested.Very different and much fuller flavour than the oil available in the supermarkets.
Tasting notes:
Aroma - Fresh cut summer grass.
Taste - firstly, fresh cut summer grass, followed by a strong pepper note at the back of the palate, slight fruit note eventually ( some say banana).
Intense flavour at the moment which will "round" with a butter note coming in later.
New season's pressing available now.
$10 per litre -please bring own container :)
20 litre drums available also.
Onkaparinga Hills - PM me for directions.

I'd say that was a mates rate especially considering the price I pay everywhere else for lesser quality.
Personally I think it's a bargain!!!!!

Wow! You mean us ordinary folk can now purchase some of your liquid gold???! :notworthy:
Please put us down for a litre....I've been using last year's very sparingly, but now I'm gonna swig that down* and buy some more!
Yours all-breathless-and-excited,
LC
*PS. Do not try unless you have a stomach of steel...the end results could be quite alarming (though perhaps a quick way to lose weight?)

How much is your 20 litre of gold.
How did you get into the oil business?:)

Not much less per litre I'm afraid - we produce so much and ...well that's it.
We "Stumbled" into the business really.Just bought a property that happened to have an olive grove with it.
It's the business that makes the least amount of money for us - but gives the most satisfaction. It's a paying hobby really.
I reckon I've 5 tons to pick this year. Not a patch on commercial groves.
We have our own label and the bottled oil goes into Mrs Tyke's gift basket business:notworthy:
As I was harvesting today my mind turned to an analogy quite close to this forum.I'll have to tap out those thoughts sometime

You didn't happen to learn the clarinet from a man called Alex by any chance, one of his students bought a property that had an old olive grove........produces quality oils

A little less noise whilst harvesting would be appreciated, having trouble dropping off for my afternoon nap (don't tell Sas);), I'll pop over for some,

Not me I'm afraid.Little Tyke played the Clarinet - but through school.
An idle wish of mine is to learn the Sax though:)

If you want to learn the sax then Alex is great, he's a jazz man, retired but plays professionally at weekends all over the place. He really loves his sax and has so much patience and he likes a good natter as well once he gets to know you. Likes olive oil too:). My daughter has been learning sax with him for 3 yrs now. Let me know if ever you want his details. Only thing is he teaches at his house in Dulwich.
