Hi there,
I just joined this forum simply because I'm moving to the Adelaide area in the new year, we moved to Australia 2 years ago. At the moment we live in Ipswich, which is just south of Brisbane in QLD.
I'll be back to look around the boards in about 30 mins but right now I have to take the kids to school.
Later peeps.

Morning Sarah,
I guess our move to Oz was different to most others, my hubby served in RAF for 22 years but that was the maximum he could serve as a Cpl so 14 months before his ex-tour date he emailed the aussie air force to enquire about joining them, they said yes and the rest, as they say, is history. He first contacted them in September 2004 and in November 2005 we landed at Brisbane airport. The whole process, from start to finish happened so fast.
I'm moving to the Adelaide area because that's where the RAAF say we'll be living for at least the next two years, after that, who knows where we'll be living.
I'm not really going to be sorry to leave QLD, although it is a lovely state it's also very very humid, the heat I can handle but the humidity is a killer. We've been told the humidity isn't as high in Adelaide.

Hi Di
Lucky you already being in OZ :D Welcome to the forum. When are you off to Adelaide?
Lisa
Evening Lisa,
We're just waiting for toll to sort out the removals for us, if we get the dates we asked for uplift will be Jan 2nd and drop off should be around Jan 8th.
I'm not looking forward to the 3 days drive though.
