where to buy child car seats?

can anybody recommend where to buy child car seats in adelaide,
some where like our halfords or mothercare, and that the store can give good advice
on the seats..

Although you can get car seats from K Mart, and Target too, we got ours from the RAA who fitted them and explained all of the current Aussie regulations to us, they were excellent, i think the seats were a tad more expensive but not much. There are a few RAA's around depending on where you will be living

there is a shop called babyco on South Road near Tonsley Park that I think helps fit them, but not too sure, but they have a reasonable range. Otherwise as Donna says RAA or Red Cross fit them

Don't know whether they still do but Red Cross used to hire the baby capsules that you can use for the first 6 months. Ha ha twas bout 13 1/2 yrs ago i last used one.
