Sounds like you really love this dog, are you sure you can't take him back with you?

Unfortunately not, it costs about £4000 to get him back as far as the UK, we are from Guernsey so would then have to go to UK to collect him after being quarantined. Also, it takes 7 1/2 months to prepare the dog to travel due to jabs etc, we aim to be back in Guernsey within the next couple of months.

I met Alfie today. And what a beautiful dog!

Lively, fluffy, friendly, energetic, adorable.

We were fully ready to go and adopt this lovely little, ok, big ball of fluff when I started having allergic reactions to it...something I hadn't expected at all.

The dog is I think slightly smaller than Golden Retriever size.

My Thomas and I went round to view Alife too. He is adorable and I'm only sorry he was too big for my Thomas to handle (he's 5 and a gust of wind would knock Thomas over).
Good luck Graham and Tracey, not just with rehoming Alfie, but with the impending move back to the U.K.
I wish you the very best of luck in life as you are a lovely couple and deserve the very best.

Aahh Libby isn't having one ALFIE enough for you :biglaugh:, can you imagine shouting ALFIE & BOTH dogs come bounding towards you :biglaugh:. Shame though, good luck with rehousing him.

hi
this is a very regretful sale which will probably make my eyes water (boys dont cry).
We have a lovely cream coloured male groodle (golden retriever/poodle)
alfie is 11 months old, he has such a lovely nature which makes him an ideal family pet. I am only interested in selling him to people who are going to involve him in their lives. He gets bored when on his own and would love to be with people all day. We paid $500 for him, i am only looking for half of that, i feel that just giving him away may attract the wrong sort of attention. I will only allow alfie to go to a home where he will be given as much love and attention as we give him..
For more info please just call me on 0415370073
regards
graham
Hi Graham

We would "LOVE" to give your Alfie a loving caring home with somebody at home with him all the time (which would be me - Gill)

We are all dog lovers and unfortunately had to rehome our lovely Gemma (Lhasa Apso) as the vet advised us due to her nature the journet to Adelaide from the UK would have been too much for her!But my auntie fell in love with her and begged if she could have her so it all worked out well but we miss her soooo much!
I have promised the kids we will get another dog once in OZ but unfotunately this could be October now due to our delay in the visa!!!!
Also we will be renting a house and couldn't guarantee that pets will be allowed straight away!

I wish we could help you out!!!

Good luck
