Just wondering, I've been shopping at Woolworths and noticed that lots of the produce is put on specials or reduced after 6pm on a Thursday or Friday evening, I was wondering do they the same deals with Foodland and Coles.

Hi Julie,

Was in Foodland on Sunday buying a cooked chicken at 4.15pm and it was reduced from 10.99 to 7.99. The assistant ran after me with the new barcode label as I was just at the till.

hmmm, just curious now ... how much is a cooked chicken in Tesco's or Sainsbury's these days ?

In Tescos a standard size one is about £3.70 and a large one about £4.50. Am sure Sainsburys and Asda are about the same.

 

Bought one the other day but can't remember the exact price!
