Anyone know roughly how much it costs to put one of those outdoor eating areas on the side of your house or which companies are good for sorting them - just an average sized one... Just working out the budget for when we arrive and eventually get round to getting one.

Cheers

Hi a lot of houses that are for sale already have alfresco's or pergola's, we have a new build and are just in the process of having one built - its huge! Didn't think it would be that big, but it makes the best use of the space available. We usd a company called Nilport (based in Willunga) and we are paying $8k, thats including everything from planning, submitting plans to council, painting it (its wooden) and installing. We are very pleased with the results so far. I would say that you should budget between $6 - 8k.

Hi,

We also are in a new build and used Nilport - just finished and very happy with it.

Really good friendly guys who do the installing.

Ours runs 2/3 of the back of the house with an appex roof ?

$6,500 and $600 for panting. The painting is optional but we thought by the time we had bought the paint and the time it was worthwhile to have it done.

Just need the weather now, so we can enjoy it and sit out.

Hi,

Just to let you know our pergola is 4 metres wide by 9 metres long.

Don't have the number to hand but if you Google it 'Nilport' in Willunga.

Lindsey's is massive and very tall.

Passionate Pom - going to have a look at those blinds at the weekend.
