Hi

We have eventually SOLD subject to contract, but it has been a bit of a nightmare.

We originally had an offer on the 23rd June. The buyers were wanting to buy to let. They then disappeared for nearly 2 weeks. Not returning EA and financial advisers phone calls. So, told EA to forget it on 3rd July. Signed up with new EA 5th July. Then we get a phone call from old EA 6th July saying the original buyer has reappeared and still wants to buy our house as they now have a first time buyer for theirs.

Put house on hold with new EA 6th July to wait to see how things go. Eventually buyer signs up for mortgage with financial adviser on 20th July and Solicitors instructed 23rd July.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly now. Going on holiday 5th Aug for 2 weeks to Turkey, so hope we've had the surveyor in before we go.

Good luck to everyone that are waiting for their house to sell. This, for me, has been the most stressful part of all.

Andrea :)

Oh Andrea im so pleased for you both,

weve been keeping everything crossed for you!! As for all the stress , just think how much skinnier you'll be in that Bikini on the beach in Turkey!! ;)

Hope you can get the finer points sorted out before you go away. Have a lovely time and take plenty of high factor sun cream there having a heatwave out there!

LUCKY DEVILS.

We'll all get together once your back.

Hope all goes well for you.

We have also just put our house on the market, and had 2 positive viewings in the first week, but nothing positive, and now with the floods around the last thing anybody is thinking about is moving house. We only live 1/2 mile from the Thames, and although many of the roads have been flooded, fortunately we have been high & dry.

We just hope that the weather will soon clear up and the feel good factor returns, or we could have a long wait for a sale.
