Hi, any recommendations for a short term furnished rental of approx two weeks when we land in Adelaide on 3rd December. Just need somewhere within travelling distance of Adelaide, but it doesnt have to be too close. Something not greatly expensive with all facilities and air con ! Can you recommend any sites to search on. I am starting to panic - time is going so fast now. Frightened incase we have to sleep in a car !!

hi ya, we have just used beechwood eco tourist park in aldinga beach for 3 weeks when we arrived, cant recommend them enough, very nice facilities,we stayed in a 2 bed spa cabin and it was perfect to use as a base for us and 3 children, much cheaper than a house rental and air con too, perfect.

Hi don't panic, we were in the same boat . We stayed at Christies Beach Tourist park for 2 weeks in a little fully equipped cabin .. knives, forkes, towels, kettle. Fantastic beach right there, air con, it cost us $1150 dollars, its about an hours drive out of the central business district. We rented a car from Lonsdales car rental ( rent a wreck) about 15 mins away from the cabin and it was battered but never stopped working and that cost $ 380 dollars for two weeks, Jon and Charmain at the caravan park were great, the guys at the rental place were great and I cannot recommend meet and greet enough. Tony was our guide and he sorted us out with medicare, hire car, tax number and even took us to the shops, told us lots of stories too...we would have been stuffed without them

There are numerous short term flat rentals in the city one I stayed in was Quest apartments. Not fancy but clean, well equipped and well located in the actual city, I think they have a few different ones so you can find out which area would best suit you. The South Australia Country Woman's Association runs a guest house in Kent Town on the edge of the CBD, it is where a lot of country people stay when they come to the city, caters for couples, singles, families. A lovely old house with a garden, and well located for the city. The kitchens and lounges are shared but it is a large place so you dont get in each others way.

Hi Have a look at the adelaidebound website under short term rentals. We have rented a cottage from homes down under. It's in Port Noarlunga and the landlady is Tamara smith. It's a great little 2 bed place ideal location to start off from. Not sure if it's still available but she has several other properties and is very helpful!
