We are now fast approaching the end of the "Noughties" - what do we call this coming decade??

 

The "Tenties"????

Everytime I hear that word "Noughties" it makes me grind my teeth! No-one has ever used the word "Nought" to describe any of the years in the last decade - have you ever said 'the date is nought five, ten, nought nine?" or "the year is twenty nought nine"? - it should be the "oh-ies"!

 

The next decade I guess will be the "teens"! God, teenage years, just what we all need!!
