Im surprised they didnt cut that bit out as i was told not to say i didnt want an apartment. Surprised they showed us apartments and not houses as i briefed them, plus properties over budget although think with only being filmed in a few cities they were running out of properties. The ones they showed us were not for sale and just friend of friends.
I cant complain though about the editing as thats part of the show and we did get to visit a few cities after filming.
If you like the show you should try relocation down under which was on Friday.
I'm surprised one of the other channels have not snapped this format up and done some more research and re-packaged it much more to real life.
I have seen 3-4 bed houses on realestate in Aldinga and surrounds with a swimming pool for around £160,000.
it's like anything, depending on your budget depends how you live, i know when we finally make it over, ill be using the local markets a lot.
our revisited was shown on Wednesday. It might have been listed as the Warners in Brisbane which is what we did on series one. However, we moved to Adelaide and in the series 2 revisited they show Adelaide and they came back in Oct to film a second revisited so maybe there is some information there that you'll find helpful.
I think you can get the programme via the BBC website for a few days after it has shown if you are in the UK, is that right?

What a rollercoaster of emotions you and your family have experienced.
Good luck to you all, you obviously have a very close family.
See you in Adelaide soon.
Hello Libby, Bob, Emily and Sophie,
Feel as if I know you all
I also saw your programme, we were on the main series in January and have been contacted about a revisit.
So glad to see that you stayed, although it has been emotion after emotion, after emotion. Your girls have grown up lovely, it is an eye opener for all who plan to go and see everything through rose tinted glasses.
be good to catch up should we ever get out there
I have every episode of WDU and revisited on DVD.
Sad but true :)

For those interested, "Wanted Down Under" (but not, it seems, the "Revisited" shows) can be downloaded from Home - UKNova, no need for a UK proxy, just register, search the torrents for "Wanted Down Under". You will need to have a torrent download program installed on your computer (I use BitComet, but there are loads).
Hello WDU Fans,
Today's WDU revisit is in Adelaide, am watching it anyway but thought a few of you might like to know :)
Yeah, I notice that it was on this morning. We're going to watch it on the iplayer this evening. They've hardly featured Adelaide this time round so it should pretty good to watch.
