buy a phone card to ring UK........far cheaper..try looking at www.phoneselector.com.au and compare terms and rates on the different ones

we use skype and that works well for us ..and doesnt cost any extra either.. well apart from the downloads from your internet provider..

Don't use Telstra / Bigpond, just don't, they may get you connected a bit quicker but wait !!!!, don't use them.
