My OH and I are off to Clare to see Tom as well. We're close enough to drive back with no worries though.
Don't think I'll take the bike . . .
Well, last weekend was a bit of a let-down too with the wild winds (I had to move the BBQ to a sheltered spot to stop it from blowing out all the time).
For all you happy campers in Clare this weekend, I salute you. For those "first timers" remember to take your portable fan heaters to plug in at the campsite (assuming you're on a powered site) - it makes a lot of difference when it's cooler. If you're not on a powered site, remember to bring a beanie! :)
Oh, if it does rain, I hope your tents are properly "seasoned" :D
We were up there at New year in the 40°C+ days, struggling to stay cool!
He did 'Green Green Grass of Home'
Well it rained it's head off for a few minutes last night.
Just going out to clear the mess up from the flooding.
Today is looking gloomy and rainy.
Can I be the first one the say "We need it"
This is only a blip, plenty more nice days to come I'm sure.
Remember last March with the return of the heat - phew!
