Puppies and new week!!

Well what a difference a week makes......puppies-no puppies-PUPPIES!! But this time I can see them moving around, turns out x-ray was wrong!! Not sure how many but I can feel at least 3 in there...stay tuned!!!!

Could your vet do a scan? I had my lhasa scanned in uk when she was expecting - its so cool.

Most 'mum' dogs hide/keep the pups up in the ribs until their too big and its too uncomfortable for the mum.

If youre feeling 3 then theres probably a couple more tucked away up there.

 

Also xrays rarely show pups until certain gestation time as theyre hidden.

Yes we were going to take her for a scan at the alpaca farm but no need now!! they must have been hiding up in her ribs, even though she was 7 weeks + when we had the x ray there is nothing on there to see not so now!! she seems to be expanding by the hour!!

have no idea yet...we'll see how this one goes although I have only bred so we can keep one of the pups so probably not.
