FIRB Approval - SIR495

Angela

Recommended Posts

We finally got FIRB approval yesterday. An email was received & a letter will be posted.

It only took a week from when the application was processed.

Settlement date for our house is 20th Nov, although we will have a couple of weeks over-lap with our rental to give our new home a little tidy up smile.gif .

We also received a call from Grace Int advising us that our shared container is ready for delivery, luckily they will keep it until after the settlement date...FOC to 241.gif .

We are all really looking forward to moving into our aussie home, especially the kids, & to have all their bits from the UK to arrive at the same time will seem like Christmas has come early smile.gif .

Hi Rob,

FIRB should be quite easy, you would apply once you make an offer on a property as you need to give them the address ect, your estate agent or if buying new builder should provide you with the forms and will normally take care of everthing for you, dont forget you should make FIRB approval a condition of purchase and make sure its in any contract you sign just in case you dont get it.
