      looks like it's on the warm side in SA now....

      Fire Weather Warning for Friday

      a mate who lives in WA was over recently, told a story about his bushfire experience.
      they were packed and ready to go, fortunately a change of wind direction made that unneccesary. hope there's no biggies.

      It is pretty sobering. Everyone seems to have a story of,or a connection to, one of the big fires that have happened over here.

      My OH is down at Monarto today, where they are on very high alert and it's actually scary, mainly because of the implications for the animals but just that feeling that they are waiting and the knowledge that one day it's going to happen.

      People seem to be dropping more rubbish, cigarette butts etc and it's pretty worrying. Mind you, there's less graffiti round here at the mo! Swings and roundabouts lol!
