Weez and the gang ;)
Been here since sept 08 and have found 'home'
The next couple of days are going to be critical - am hoping and praying that the majority of those unaccounted for are safe and well and hopefully just incommunicado. What with the fires in WA and the floods in Queensland, and locusts on the hatch again Australia just seems to be falling apart.
In cases like these, I never know what to donate (apart from money of course) - do they really need more "stuff" when they have nowhere to put it? Wish I was a builder or something and had a skill I could donate...

I Went to the salvos and red cross today to donate some towels and kids clothes but they declined saying they only want monetary donations at the moment as they have loads of stuff from the victoria fires to take up there. Sadly at the mo we are not in much of a position to give much financially, but they were very pleased with my $10 donation, every little helps I suppose.
my wifes brother lives at the end of the Brisbane river and he's ok, but his wifes brother live at Hamilton near Brisbane and have been told to evacuate, which they did. But last night their were looters in the area and her hubby has gone back tonight.
