You get what you pay for

Just salesmen after a quick buck

Many of the installs are completed by TA's with office staff forging accredited installers signatures to claim the RECs

true value only got a builders licence last month?

There must be a CEC Accredited Installer on site at the time of the installation

and if they are contractors they must have a builders licence.

Most of the installers have left over the last few months

they still have some some installers who are good its just potluck to who turns up.

Check out the CEC website for more info.

Most of the more expensive companys do site inspections and work out the savings and the best position for the panels and the inverter.

True value work like many of the others, that 95% of the systems will fit and leave it to the installer to decide on location.

I have seen one of their installs fitted to the south facing roof(some of the installers just want to get paid and don't care about system performance).
