Northgate n surrounding areas?!!

can anyone tell me what Northgate is like pls as an area? is it safe, family friendly, things to do/see etc, thanks,

It depends whether you look at the older part of Northgate or the new development at Lightsview, which is very nice but also rather expensive (you can google Lightsview and look at plans of the new houses). Oakden, next door, is very pleasant although surrounded by busy main roads. It is also easy to get into the city or out to the Barossa from any of those suburbs and Tea Tree Plaza is a short drive away, the nearest beach at Semaphore is about 25 mins max.

We rented at Northgate for two-and-a-half years and really enjoyed it. Plenty of green space, most houses are well looked after, good transport links, easy drive to CBD and TTP, beach less than 30 mins away. Some local shops and a supermarket, a couple of pubs close by.
