Return Residents Visa

Hi

We are returning to the UK for a holiday and were wondering if we will require a

‘Return residents visa’ .We are perm residents (sub class 887) and the Visa says

Multiple travel- do not enter after Jan 2015 (which would be 5 years since date of issue)

From that info I would think NO.........but the immigration website is ambiguous…

Any help would be appreciated

I will try calling them tomorrow but from experience I may have a long wait.

Your visa is valid for travel until Jan 2015 you will only need an RRV after this date to leave and return to Oz. By then you should be eligible for citizenship and I would go for that ASAP rather than repeat RRVs
