Were in the final countdown

Well, what seems like a age since we started the emigration process we are now in the final countdown. I leave my job as a nurse this wed, hubby finishes Friday. Our leaving party is sorted, shippers are booked, flights arranged for the 19th October. Initiall rental sorted, job interview this Tuesday. I thought i would be stressed to high heaven at the mo but actually im not!! Just need to pack the rest our cases sell the cars and take the cat to his new home.. Dreading that part!!.

 

Hope to see people i have made friends with on pia soon.

Thanks both, iv been so busy iv not been on here much. Gill deff meet, you will have to pm me your phone number and i can call you when were settled. I have another nurse friend called Debbie, maybe we could all meet for a drink, she is already over there, i think she has an interview on Fri at Flinders. They didnt ask anything hard at my interview just more like an informal chat but fingers crossed, i will let you know once iv heard.

Thanks Paul and Elaine, heard on Wednesday that our trust has had to borrow money to pay us and only has enough cash until christmas, so a good time to be leaving i think!!

Thank you all, the shippers have been today, we have one bed, sofa and tv and loads of boxes!!! surpised how quickly they have packed it all up. Boys at moms, cat going to new home tonight :sad:then move out on Wednesday. Funny that i dont really feel anything at all now its all happening.
