Hi!......Lurker turned new poster!

Hi All!

 

I've been lurking around for a few weeks but had to join up and become a poster tonight!.....we have been in Australia almost 4 years, 1 1/2 in Adelaide and tonight just found a real "English style" Indian restaurant!

 

We are seriously not the kind of people who holiday in Spain looking for the best English breakfast but were getting serious curry withdrawals!

 

Just been to the Balti House on Goodwood road, (just down from Capri cinema) and it was REAL PROPER CURRY! :notworthy:

 

We went early 5pm and in under 2 hours we were there there were 3 other groups 2 tables of 6 and one of 4 and 5 people collected take away, they were ALL poms! Obviously well known then, not sure how we missed it: but we will definatly be visiting again!......and again, and again, and again!

Yay - thanks for the recommendation - will have to try! (Also love your justification of 'not the kind of people that go to Spain to eat English food - lol) Did you have any dishes that were particuarly good?

Yep soo we had chicken dansak and chicken tikka jalfrazi both were awesome!......were in Glenelg are you? We are in Glenelg as well:cute:
