Studying in the UK

Since our recent trip back to Blighty, our 3 sons have been chatting about moving back to live and work in London. We have actively encouraged them to complete their chosen education paths first, but yesterday, one lad mentioned he would like to study Law at a British university. He was born in the UK, so would he be classed as a British applicant having moved back, or is he classed as Australian, paying higher fees because Australia is outside the EU? Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you will find that you have to be resident for the 3 years proceding study to be able to get uk domestic fees.As you live in a non EU country you will be liable for international fees even if you are a British Citizen. Sorry

Many universities have exchange programmes for 1 or 2 semesters and if successful you don't have to pay international fees for the time spent on the exchange. http://www.law.adelaide.edu.au/students/exchange/
