Booked the flights

Well finally got around to it...

 

we fly on 15/04/08 heathrow to singapore to adelaide..

 

going on the airbus 380 for the first leg - hubby made the uplocks for it so really wanted to go on it! we heard that singapore airlines had just taken delivery of 2 more planes and waited to see what routes they would use them on as the current one and only 380 only does singapore to sydney.

sorted the 40kgs baggage allowance too.

anyone else flying that day?

 

has brought on mass shakes and panicked feeling i must admit...

I made the wings for the A380,but we fly from Manchester,so will be on a boeing 777,flying on May 12th to singapore then onto Adelaide,enjoy the flight,if you have never seen the 380,you will be amazed at the size of it,and they are very quiet too,Paul.

we booked our flights 2 days ago now for 27th Feb, BA from edinburgh to londong then Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong, overnight stay then straight through to Adelaide x

 

I totally know what you mean about the shakes, can't quite get my head around that this is it, we are finally going.

Congrats. Feeling the same way, we're like you not shipping much out and we are renting out our house. We're flying out on 26th March stop over in Singapore, we then fly to Sydney and staying with some friends. Will be in getting into Adelaide on the 2nd April. What area you moving to.

Ooh, blimey, all us "April/May" arrivals will have to have a get together, cos it looks likes there's loads of us invading Adelaide at the same time!! Good luck everyone, and have a safe journey. We are going via Hong Kong with Cathay leaving on 30th April, arriving 2nd May. Know what you mean about the trembles, I have had them since Xmas!!

There does seem to be quite a few of arriving at the same time - definate welcome bbq's required...

 

We dont know what area we'll be living in yet - got to see where the work will be first...10 mins to work and 30 mins to beach = perfect balance as unfortunately we'll be at work more than the beach!

Our friends are in Eden Hills - so want to rent nearish to them initially - but then 'who knows'...

Had a quote from Crown for our boxes - need to get a move on now
