Hi all

 

Our friend (australian) is going to the U.K. at christmas. 6 years ago she overstayed her working visa, on leaving the U.K. on leaving the U.K. she didnt have to clear immigration so her passport was not exit stamped. She is now concerned that she will not clear immigration on her return at christmas.

 

Does anyone have any advice? will she be o.k.

She should contact the official bods if she is concerned. I've no clue as to what is what exactly with immigration and visa status in those cases.

 

She should do this before booking her ticket as it seems a huge expense if there would be problems the other end.
