random ice cream question

odd one i know, but, do they have ice creams vans here??

We have an ice cream van that comes around here (Aldinga), not like the ones from Uk though. He sells boxes of ice lollies etc, good value though. The bell doesnt sound like Uk ones either, its more of a 'bring out your dead' sort of bell, lol.

You do get them occasionally - but few and far between. They do something called a choctop which is like a 99 but they put the softserve icecream in a cone, and dip the icecream into melted chocolate which obviously sets around the cold icecream! Yum!! The Home Ice Cream thing mentioned above is more a bulk buy thing which I think is a franchise. You sometimes find icecream vans in places like Belair Park at weekends, but they don't seem to go round the residential roads like I remember from my childhood - perhaps a business opportunity for someone??
