Vat On Parcels sent to the UK

HI all.

Just to let you know that scrouge has reared his ugly head back in the Uk. The vat man strikes again sent a parcel to my daughter and she has to pay 40 pounds vat on it.

Seems that they have changed the rules this year, if you are sending anything with a value of over 40 pounds you will pay vat.

If you are sending for more that one person you need to put all recipiants on the delivery note with the value of each gift..

We got stung as well, sent parcel to in-laws,can't understand why they have to pay as I've been sending parcels for 3 yrs and nothing like that happened. It must be really new rule which sucks!
