Hi, how long do you get before changing your driver's licence from UK to Australian? I've heard it's 3 months but have also heard year?

Hi Shelley!

 

i think it depends what visa you are on, as far as i know if you are on PR it is 3 months, if you are on a temp visa i don't thing you have to change it at all, although not sure if you do after a set time. But then why wouldn't you? its not that expensive, you don't have to surrender your uk one, its a good form of ID and i guess it might be smoother if you were stopped by the police to have a Oz one?
